The short version

If you join the waitlist we store your email address, which version of the page you saw, your assessment result, and when you signed up. We do not sell it, share it, or hand it to advertisers. Ask us and we delete all of it.

What we store when you join the waitlist

  • Your email address.
  • Which of the two headline variants you were shown, so we can read the result of the test.
  • Your assessment result — the state name and its internal code — and the ten answers that produced it, so we can send you the right guide and understand how the assessment behaves in the wild.
  • A random visitor identifier, the referring URL, and a timestamp.

That is the complete list. We do not ask for your name, your age, your location, or anything about your health beyond the ten answers you chose to give.

The assessment itself

The ten questions are scored entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted while you answer them, and if you close the page without giving us an email address, nothing about your answers reaches us at all.

Cookies

Two, both strictly functional. One records which headline variant you were assigned, so you see the same page if you come back. One holds a random identifier so a single visitor is not counted twice. Neither is used for advertising and neither is shared.

Analytics

We record anonymous product events — page viewed, assessment started, assessment finished, email submitted — through PostHog, to see where the funnel leaks. These events carry the variant and the state result. They do not carry your email address.

Who else touches your data

Three processors, each doing one job: Supabase stores the signup list, Resend sends the confirmation email, and Vercel hosts the site. We do not give your details to anyone else, and we do not sell data under any circumstances.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and we close it. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe, which also removes you from the list.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@dao-living.com and we will act within thirty days. If you are in the UK, EU, or California you have these rights in law; we extend them to everyone regardless.

Children

Dao Living is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
